Implants Diffusion International
IDI was founded in 1987.
Our scientific team is made up researchers, engineers and practitioners with expert knowledge of the most up-to-date technology. New products for implantology and surgery are constantly being developed and put onto the market.
IDI invests a great deal in the quality assurance of its products and also focuses investment on the development of medical instruments that ensure safe surgery IDI medical instruments are valued by hospitals and implantology training centers.
As early as 1987 IDI attracted attention when it introduced dental implants with a new surface that was sandblasted, etched and TiO2-coated.
In 1997, IDI introduced the RBS® drill with depth stop and bone-harvesting channel, which made implant surgery safer. These drills are protected by numerous patents in many countries.
In response to user demands IDI introduced a new product range in 2000: implants that are specially designed to meet the requirements of periodontal aesthetics. These implants have a highly polished gold neck.
The OSTEOSINUS® was put onto the market in 2004, this concept facilitates sinus floor elevation and ensures that it is stress-free.
2009 is a year of success for the company, with the IDCam® implant which benefits from the SMA+TiO2 state of surface.
The IDCam® implant draws attention to itself thanks to its Switching Cone neck and to its cylindro-tapered body identical to a dental root. |
